Old Game Redesign Practice

I have created a practice piece based on my own adaptation of the original to make a more modern version of  the original mega drive/genesis "Echo The Dolphin".

In total this piece took around 6 hours from start to finish.

New Portfolio Website

I have updated my portfolio with a completely new makeover and redesign.

Looking for support for new drawing equipment

New Creature Concept Art

Finally got some free time tonight so i created a creature concept for practice work.
This was all drawn in Photoshop with my wacom intous 4 tablet and in total took around 4 hours to complete.

New Creature Creation Time Lapse Video

Created for www.exilic.com, this creature is an adaptation of the Simurgh. An ancient mythical creature of Persian culture. This video shows the stages from start to finish of this design.At the end you will also see the final render  where the creature was eventually put into a scene.
The video is sped up considerably but i have tried during the process to not zoom in and out too much so the video doesn't mess with your eyes.Enjoy!

Dragon Speed Painting Videos completed

 

 

After my previous blog i had a lot of requests to finish the job on my painting so i have actually completed another time lapse video for it.
Here you will see both part 1 and part 2 of the process and also the final render.
The whole purpose was for production speed, i hope you all enjoy it. Also in the next couple of days i will be releasing my most recent personal concept i have been working on as well as a couple of game element pieces. ENJOY! :)

New practice matte painting

This could do with a lot more work but i left it the way it is. This was a practice matte painting , not for a full render and shininess but so that i could practice some new techniques.In total this was actually a really fast one as it only took me about 2 hours once i had gathered enough resources.
